Oh, yes, I'm very familiar with that scene. People have trouble with both my first and last name, so I've learned to answer to Lana, Yana, Illiana, Alana and a whole host of other mispronunciations. It's generally easier than trying to correct people (especially since even if I do correct them, people still can't say it right). On the plus side, it's useful for identifying telemarketers, when someone calls in the evening and doesn't know how to pronounce my name... XD
