Kame is adorable. He can be a flailing spaz. He is most adorable when flailing spazzily. Please spaz more, adorable Kame. ♥

Koki, my heart, my love, my treasure -- hair. Hair that is not the color of corn. Hair that does not malign your beautiful face in unsettlingly bizarre places. ƒor thou art not gangsta in mine eyes. Thou art better served, rathyr, as a hott piece oƒ asse. Tegoshi be wyth you. ♥

Because Nobuta was the thing that led me to JE, my first time watching gave me love of Akira. Now, a year later, watching it a second time, I'm seeing Yamapi in -- inside -- behind Akira. ...There was probably a chaste way to phrase that. >:) I like my way better. Dear Yamapi, carry on, you're incredible. Love, Kya. :) ♥
10 Kato Shigeaki
What cemented my love for Shige was his imaginary cat. What continues to hold my affections is his long-suffering love for News. Especially his relationship with Ryo. And Koyama. And Yamapi. And food. Food that Ryo feeds him. Against his will. ♥
9 Nishikido Ryo
Ryo is still such a boy. He made the physical jump from adorable to NGRBSDJHJWA but watching him with Kanjani∞ is so much fun because he's such a woobie. Some of my favorite moments watching Kanjani∞ behave like idiots are whenever Ryo goes poison-tongue on them and they laugh at him and ruffle his hair. Ah, Ryo-chan. Someone somewhere respects you. ♥
8 Tegoshi Yuya
Like him. Hee. Love. Love love love love I KNEW I WOULD LOVE HIM I KNEW IT I KNEW IF I LOOKED DIRECTLY AT HIM I WOULD -- he's amazing. Singing, dancing, appealing. Name it. Little talented prodigy. ♥
7 Maruyama Ryuhei
Oh, Maru-chan. Maru, Maru, Maru. The man who coined PAAAAAAN, the man who during Janiben fell on Subaru and recovered by straddling him, the man who put bike shorts in my top twenty favorite articles of clothing to see on well-toned bodies, the man who looks hotter every single day. Endless adoration. ♥
6 Ohkura Tadayoshi
First of all, GUH. Now that that's out of the way, NGK. And also AKJNJWHEW. But! While hot, Ohkura's real appeal for me is how sweet he is. He coined 8->1. He loves Kanjani∞ so much and they love him. Especially Yoko. ♥
5 Imai Tsubasa
THE MAN I WATCHED WALK DOWN A ROAD IN BLACK AND WHITE FOR FOUR MINUTES AND TWENTY-EIGHT SECONDS. MORE THAN ONCE. That PV has claimed about an hour of my life. Tsubasa is snarky and easily amused by his job. He has no Idol Smile. What he has instead is a If I Took My Shirt Off Right Now You'd Drool On Yourself Smirk. Never change, beautiful. ♥
4 Yasuda Shota
One of my top five favorite performances in all JE history is Ashita from the Spirits!! con. Yasu's guitar solo is maybe the most adorable thing I've ever seen him do onstage. Whenever he plays his guitar, he lights up, and during that solo, he just glows. Oh! And while I'm bringing up favorite moments -- my second favorite from Neoki Dokkiri (next to Subaru whipping himself with a plastic snake and moaning, "Uhnn, kimochi! Uhhnnn!") is when 5/8ths of Kanjani∞ beat up Yasu for staying up until two in the morning writing lyrics instead of getting his rest. In Kansai, abuse is love. ♥
3 Murakami Shingo
Speaking of abuse... Hina is shameless. What's cool about Kanjani∞ is that they're all in love with the group and each other, and in very unique ways. Subaru loves them passionately, Yasu loves them adoringly, Ryo loves them little brother-ishly, and Hina loves them fondly. He calls himself Subaru's oldest and biggest fan, he drunkenly bear hugs Yoko and while they were in Okinawa on vacation, he bought every member so many gifts that he forgot to get something for himself. He's a sweetheart and a hottie and he's so obsessed with soccer it's beautiful. ♥
2 Yokoyama Yu
One of my favorite parts about Kanjani∞ is Recomen, the radio show Yoko and Hina host together. The place where Yoko feels free to discuss his Spinning Top. Yes, that. Below the belt, above the knees and between the thighs. There you go. Also a regular feature on Recomen -- Yoko whining about inevitable lectures on censorship that he will also inevitably ignore. Yoko, in case it's slipped anyone's notice, is fucking awesome. XDDD
But what really gets me is how sweet he is. He's shyer than he appears, and quieter than you'd think he's capable of being. When he and Hina roomed together on tour, they said more often than not their room was quiet. Saving up for, you know, later. When they never shut up. Oh, but speaking of adorable. Back in December, he had to miss Recomen once to film for Yukan Club. So the studio called Subaru to fill in. Skipping the hilarious bits, Yoko ended up getting out of work early and called Recomen. On air, he said -- oh, the hell with it, I'm pasting in all of it:
Hina: Well, Shibutani-san.
Subaru: Hai.
Hina: We've called Yokoyama-san and we've been connected,
Subaru: Ah, really?!
Hina: Apparently, let's try, moshimoshi?
Yoko: Moshimoshi?
Hina: Hey, good work there,
Yoko: hey am I there?
Hina: you're here,
Subaru: what're you doing anyway?
Hina: what's up?
Yoko: Well no, I thought maybe if the two of you were having fun maybe I shouldn't...so I had an emergency meeting
Hina: You don't have to worry about that...
Subaru: Come here,
Yoko: But I, I don't have enough energy left to do a pretend fight,
Subaru: But there's no need to do a pretend fight!
Hina: We're only doing it normally,
Yoko: I don't have any energy at all... so we were talking about what to do then,
Hina: well well right now, you're doing rehearsals and filming the drama right?
Yoko: i have to wake up real early tomorrow too,
Hina: Real early...
Yoko: That's right,
Hina: What about now? Are you still filming?
Yoko: Mm it finished already, I'm near there,
Hina: Oh then come,
Subaru: You're nearby?
Yoko: I'm really debating whether to just go to back to the hotel already,
Hina: No come!
Subaru: You don't have to go back to the hotel!
Yoko: But, I was listeing for a bit, but you guys seem to be having fun,

Yoko: I don't want to ruin that,
Subaru: No, ruin... i mean, no probelem!
Hina: No the three of us, it's been a while since the three of us have been on radio,
Subaru: It'd be good if you came!
Hina: How many years has it been?
Subaru: Since Ikemen right? (Drama they were in together as Juniors.)
Hina: Ahahahaha!

Yoko: Nfufufufu!
Subaru: Since Ikemen, we haven't worked together,
Yoko: Right now I really laughed normally,
Hina: we'll be waiting then,
Yoko: well then, I'll head that way!

To get the full effect of just how adorable this conversation is, listen as you read! This is maybe the most sincerely hesitant I've ever heard Yoko sound. But Hina loves him, and they are Ossan and they are OT3, even when Subaru is a brat. ♥
