Today! We have an episode of Hey Hey Hey! from 4/16/2007, wherein Takki and Tsubasa discuss each other's birthdays (customized shirts, suit dress code, special-purpose bodyguards, etc.), Tsubasa shows photographic evidence of his anal-retentive tendencies, and Takki does magic tricks.

Takki and Tsubasa are asked what they like about each other. Tsubasa tells the Legend of Tokyo Dome, and the host reacts appropriately:

HOST: WHAT THE HELL KIND OF INCOME DO YOU MAKE, TAKKI.
TAKKI: No, no, no! I just asked for it! I asked them to make it cheap!
TSUBASA: Like a wife.*
HOST: Right. "Please give me Tokyo Dome!" That did not happen, you insane human being.

*I think that's what he says – I couldn't hear him well over HOST trying to make TAKKI explain his entirely normal birthday gift epic. "Wife" was definitely in there, though.

Next, they ask Takki what he likes about Tsubasa.


TAKKI: I like seeing you cry! :D

Yup. Also, he's claimed that one of his turn-ons is when women stand pigeon-toed. Just, you know, to give you some idea of scale here. He explains that sometimes at the end of concerts, Tsubasa will be so deeply moved that he'll cry (usually during/after "epilogue," since that's basically Their Song), so Takki likes the close feeling it gives them.

You know what, though? This isn't all that weird. Takki just likes that Tsubasa cares so much. So, really, how he said it is strange, but the sentiment is really sweet.

I've loved T&T since I got into fandom in 2007, but I wasn't well-connected with any deeply knowledgeable T&T fans, so I've been missing out on lots of adorable details that I'm only finding out about now thanks to the Almost Disturbing Searching Skills of fuyukoi and the wealth of information that is the team of lovespiral and luin_lote. I probably would have looked harder for T&T-related things all this time since Tsubasa's my second favorite in Johnnys, but it's not as easy finding things for them as it is in K8 fandom, plus Subaru is extremely distracting. (Oh, hey, speaking of! While I was in Harajuku I got the awesomest picture of him making a crazy face while holding a massive signed-ball gun. ♥ ( Voila )

I have Feelings about Subaru. ♥ XD)

So anyway! In October, I got tickets to see T&T three times, three days in a row, and I now have purikura-level stars permanently fused to my irises.
